D.A.D.S. LifeGroup, Inc. is committed to the LIFE of the "FATHERLESS" child. Through; education, housing, counseling, mentoring, recreation and more importantly... Restructuring the relational involvement he/she has with their DaD. By fostering a warm environment that allows a child to connect with our professional staff plus administering a comprehensive life changing experience to our D.A.D.S (DaDs Are Doing Something) members. We are able to bridge the gap that has served as a vestibule towards early sexual activity, greater risk of drug and alcohol abuse, more mental illness, more suicide, poor educational performance, higher rates of teen pregnancy, criminality and sexual abuse. These "FATHERLESS" children are also more likely to have suffered child abuse and more often have earlier death, confused identities (boys), more aggressive behavior (boys), more emotional distress, uncooperative behavior, more anxiety and depression (girls), more antisocial behavior and school suspensions.
The decline of the natural two parent, married couple has resulted in a downward spiral of social, economic and cultural status. Diminishing personal esteem, identity and direction. The Department of Health and Human Services has put out alarming stats that seem to climb every year.
