Food for Life Vrindavan/Care for Vrindavan
Our Mission at Food for Life Vrindavan/Care for Vrindavan is to lift the children out of the viscous cycle of poverty Since 1990 Food for Life Vrindavan/Care for Vrindavan has served children who are the poorest of the poor or the "bottom line"of Indian society. FFLV is a humanitarian association officially recognized by the Indian government serving the villages of Vrindavan located 120 kilometers South of New Delhi.
We provide a wholelistic and hands-on approach to lifting the children out stravtion, illness, and lack of education and oppurtunity. We have built, run, and maintain three schools that educate 1,600 students aged from pre-school through high school. Each of our students receives daily nutritious meals, medical care, and clothes as well as books and supplies. FFLV also built and operates a free healthcare clinic that serves the community and employs two full time physicians.
FFLV depends entirely on donations and our many volunteers. We are proud to report that 95.5% of donations go directly to the cause. We operate on a shoe sting budget and only use 4.5% of donations for administrative costs. We invite you to be a part of changing the destinies of the children through donation and service.
